SO WHEN WE LOOKED AT IT LAST TIME, YOU KNOW, YOUR POPULATION IS RUNNING AROUND 56, 5,700 PEOPLE.

AND AS WE LOOKED AT THE RECORDS FROM THE LAST COUPLE OF SUMMERS, THEY'VE KIND OF VARIED, YOU KNOW, 400 TO 500 GALLONS PER CAPITA PER DAY FOR THE MAX DAY.

SO AS WE LOOK TO TODAY, YOU KNOW, WE'RE YOU KNOW, IF WE HAVE THAT TYPE OF DEMAND OCCURRING, WE'RE PROBABLY GOING TO USE ABOUT 3 MILLION GALLONS A DAY.

YOU HAVE A CONTRACT WITH NORTH TEXAS MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR THREE AND A HALF MILLION GALLONS A DAY.

SO, YOU KNOW, WE'RE SITTING HERE PRETTY GOOD.

BUT AS WE LOOK AT THE LOTS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN BUILT YET AND THERE'S ABOUT 830 OF THOSE LOTS AS THEY COME ONLINE, THAT'S GOING TO START TO DIMINISH THAT RESERVE THAT YOU HAVE.

AND IF ALL THOSE LOTS WERE ON THE GROUND TODAY, YOUR DEMAND WOULD BE IS PROJECTED TO BE ABOUT 3.8 MILLION GALLONS A DAY.

SO NOW WE'RE OVER THE SUPPLY FROM THE DISTRICT.

AND SO OUR RECOMMENDATION IS THAT, YOU KNOW, YOU EXTEND THAT MORATORIUM UNTIL WE GET A CONTRACT WITH THE DISTRICT.

THIS LAND IS GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE THOMAS ESTES SURVEY ABSTRACT NUMBER 298, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

SPECIFICALLY UNDER THE STATUTE, WE HAVE TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT SUCH AS THIS WITH THE DEVELOPER OR OWNER OF THE PROPERTY BEFORE WE CAN ANNEX THE PROPERTY.

SO THIS CONTRACT IS BEING PRESENTED TO YOU IN BOTH OF THESE INSTANCES, SPECIFICALLY UNDER THE STATE STATUTE.

SO THAT'S WHY IT'S COMING TO YOU AS TWO SEPARATE ITEMS. WHEREAS ORIGINALLY WHEN YOU TOOK UP THE ANNEXATION, THE THING ABOUT CITY SERVICES WAS JUST AN ATTACHMENT ON THE ANNEXATION.

THAT WAS A ONE PAGE LITTLE DEAL OF HERE, HERE'S THE STUFF.

NOW STATUTE DICTATES WE DO IT THIS WAY.

AND OBVIOUSLY ALL THESE SERVICES, POLICE, WASTEWATER FACILITIES, ETC., WILL ALL BE PART OF THIS FIRE PROTECTION, WHICH I DON'T THINK IS A BIG PROBLEM.

BUT WATER SERVICE SEEMS TO BE MAYBE A SNAG THAT WAS ACTUALLY INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL NUMBERS FOR THE MORATORIUM, ANYTHING THAT HAD A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT OR ANYTHING DOWN THAT LINE, WE INCLUDED THOSE NUMBERS WITHIN THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT.

SO THOSE SHOULD BE COVERED UNDER THOSE.

WASN'T THIS PARTICULAR ONE GRANDFATHERED, SO TO SPEAK, BECAUSE WE STARTED IT BEFORE THE YEAH, WE STARTED THIS ONE I BELIEVE BEFORE THE MORATORIUM TOO.

BUT WE INCLUDED WITHIN OUR THE ORDINANCE ITSELF ANYTHING THAT WAS UNDER A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT OR SOME SORT OF WELL, A DA OF SOME SORT THAT WE WOULD INCLUDE THOSE WITHIN THE NUMBERS THE LOT COUNT BECAUSE WE KNOW THE LOT COUNTS FOR WHITE STONE DURING THIS TIME PERIOD. DURING THAT TIME PERIOD.

SO I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF THOSE SO WHAT THIS DOES IS IT BRINGS THEM UNDER OUR CURRENT DEVELOPMENT CODE AS AND ZONING CODE, SUBDIVISION REGS IS AS IT IS.

AND SO THOSE THAT HAVE SEWER IN THE CITY PURSUANT TO OUR CODE WOULD HAVE SEWER.
